The Recent World Record

Manali → Leh98 hours, 27 minutes.

Sufiya attempted the World Record for the Fastest Run from Manali to Leh. She completed this incredible challenge in 98 hours and 27 minutes, breaking her own previous record by more than 15 hours and setting a new World Record.

What made this feat even more remarkable was her choice to take not just the main roads but also extreme mountain trails, pushing her limits and making the run significantly more demanding.

About the Route

The Manali–Leh route is considered one of the toughest endurance routes in the world. Extreme weather, five high-altitude mountain passes, and dangerously low oxygen levels. Night temperatures can drop to −10°C, and the total elevation gain on this route is over 8,500 meters — almost equal to the height of Mount Everest.
