Who we are

Run for Dreams is a 5,000 km charity run from Kanyakumari to Karakoram undertaken by SufiyaSufi runner as a tribute to the Indian Armed Forces. The campaign is presented by College Mentor and supported by the Indian Army.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through this website, how we use it, and who we share it with.

Information we collect

We collect information you voluntarily submit through the Virtual Run registration form on the /virtual-run page. Depending on the category you register for, this may include:

• Full name and Name on the Bib
• Date of birth (used to derive your age band)
• Email address and mobile number
• Profession
• Distance you plan to run
• State of residence (for the State Run category)
• Run date (for the Pace with Sufiya category)
• School name and coordinator contact (for the School Challenge)

We also collect basic analytics from our hosting provider (Vercel) such as page views, device type, and approximate location — used only to improve the site.

We do not collect payment information through this website. The Virtual Run is currently free to register; payment links, if introduced later, will be handled by a separate payment processor.

How we use your information

Registration data is used to enroll you in the Virtual Run, send you confirmation, share your bib details, and contact you about your participation. Aggregated, non-identifying data may be used to share campaign milestones publicly.

Where your data goes

Registration form submissions are sent to a Google Sheet operated by the Run for Dreams sponsorship lead (College Mentor / Dreams and Degrees). The Onelap GPS tracker embedded on the Live Track page is a third-party service that displays Sufiya's real-time location — it does not collect any information from you.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party.

Your rights

You can request a copy of your registration data, ask us to correct it, or request deletion at any time by emailing the contacts listed below.
